LaTeX Word Counter is, like the name says, a word counter for LaTeX files.

LaTeX Word Counter is NOT maintained anymore ! (last update in 2008)

lwc counts the number of word in LaTeX files.
It can also count simple text files.
It has a simple and easy Graphical Interface.
Logs can be showed for every files (for example included LaTeX files).
When opened, the file is checked to be LaTeX or not.
When done, all the words are counted.
Once done, the user can always recount the same file, or open another.

LaTeX Word Counter is developped in Java, so you will need Java Runtime Environment to run it. The zip files in the download section contains the jar file and the executable scripts for both Linux and Windows.
